Quality Print Services extends ColorJet range with new Vulcan Hybrid 1800
The machine can print on a range of media up to 1.8m wide and can be used for both flexible and rigid print applications.
Burscough, UK, May 5, 2026: Quality Print Services (QPS), the one-stop-shop for the wide-format print market, is delighted to announce the availability of the Vulcan Hybrid 1800, a new-generation UV hybrid printer from leading manufacturer ColorJet.
QPS is the official distributor for ColorJet’s UV flatbed and soft signage printers in the UK, and the Vulcan Hybrid 1800 marks the latest addition to the range. Engineered to address the rising demand for compact, versatile, and application-driven UV printing solutions, the new machine can print at speeds of up to 45sq m/hr in high production three-row CMYK mode.
Built around an advanced conveyor belt, the machine ensures smooth and stable handling of both flexible media and lightweight rigid boards up to 20mm thick. With a maximum print width of 1.8m, the ColorJet Vulcan 1800 opens up opportunities across numerous print applications enabling users to explore and expand into new, profitable markets.
Further features to support operators include an ink level sensor to alert users to low ink ahead of time and on-board anti-crash and anti-static. In addition, the machine uses UV ink that is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, meaning it meets strict low-VOC emission standards and is therefore suitable for sensitive indoor environments such as offices, schools, and healthcare settings.
“We’re delighted to introduce another first-class ColorJet printer to our existing portfolio,” said Chris Bailey, Managing Director of QPS. “It’s the perfect solution for print service providers seeking a compact UV hybrid printer that combines maximum flexibility with speed and high-quality output.
“With the addition of the Vulcan Hybrid 1800, we now offer one of the widest ranges of UV printers in the UK.”
