Quality Print Services (QPS) will return to Sign and Digital UK from March 28th to 30th 2017 where its stand (J12) will feature the highest quality wide-format and dye-sublimation printing technology and inks.
QPS will be among the key hardware and consumables suppliers at the annual sign and graphics show, taking place at Birmingham's NEC venue.
Among the equipment on display on the QPS stand will be a Mimaki JV300 wide-format printer running Nazdar 130 Series inks, developed as a completely compatible, colour-matched alternative to the OEM Mimaki SS21 ink set, with a low-odour formulation and lower price. Visitors to Stand J12 will be able to see the high-intensity, high-gloss colours and improved resistance to alcohol, scratching and abrasion offered by the Nazdar 130 Series. The inks are also fast-drying and provide long-term performance for prints used out of doors.
In addition, QPS – an authorised Roland dealer for dye-sublimation and UV applications – will be demonstrating a Roland Texart RT-640 running Roland dye-sublimation inks. Ideal for apparel, décor and promotional goods as well as soft signage, the RT-640 is a high-production machine capable of excellent quality output as part of a user-friendly workflow.
"We're seeing an increase in demand for soft signage equipment so are looking forward to demonstrating a Roland dye-sub printer and inks to Sign and Digital UK visitors," says Chris Bailey, Director, QPS. "The use of flags and fabric displays for advertising have been popular on the continent for some time and is really breaking through in the UK, thanks to their durability, longevity and ease of storage and transportation; they can be simply folded up and washed for reuse in the future."
He continues: "Another trend we're seeing, naturally, is sign businesses looking for higher quality at lower prices. Our full selection of Nazdar inks – many of which are made in Britain – offer that: quality on par with or exceeding that of OEM inks but a lower price point. We'll be demonstrating this on a Mimaki machine at Sign UK in March."
The QPS team will also be on hand to inform attendees about the Lancashire business's entire equipment, ink and service support line-up, including its full range of robust Longier large-format LED curing UV printers.
